This morning I basically saw to it that the morning disappeared on anything other than my coursework.  Some of the stuff did have to be done, like shopping for my mother's birthday which is a week from today, but most of it is a direct result of me still being on tilt from yesterday.
A lot of people misinterpret how bad I really feel when it's like this.  It's very similar to what happens to professional poker players; there are definitely some out there who steam over bad breaks so badly (if you haven't my trigger from yesterday, go back and do that now) that they're prone to making mistakes, often to their severe detriment.  That's how it is with me.  Even though all indications are there was nothing me or the professor could have done over yesterday's lost discussion, it still did damage to something that I have to clear that is basically unrepairable, which to my eyes gives me no choice but to put together a 3 1/2 page paper that feels like it was slapped together at the last minute but has no room for improvements because I have no way of knowing if I understand the documents that we never got to correctly.
Because my map quiz score was better than most I can afford to take a hit here, I guess, but I can see this happening again in two weeks with the second paper...it looks like I'm going to have to rely on my lucky stars now.

When is your paper due? You may still have time to work on it and improve it and you can ask the professor questions. If the classroom discussion ever goes off topic again, ask the professor questions about the topic when it does. Maybe that will help?

I\'m sorry you aren\'t feeling well. HUGS

Hopefully, your next paper won\'t be so stressful. Will you be allowed to use outside sources?
