I have got to find outlets for the stress that I feel.
So this morning, over a bagel for breakfast, my dad was scheming ideas to get through the morning before the wedding.  Since he (and myself) have been explicity told to stay out of the setup Saturday morning, he proposed going to Costco...alone.
I know how he is.  Unless you give him a specific objective, he's prone to picking up whatever he feels like, and most of it is not very useful.  I classify my place a pack rat house for a reason (you need only look at the stuffed drawers in my room posted in my photos area).
Mother seemed kinda indifferent about it...and that's when the moment came.  What I said was, "You're going to end up with a few hundred dollars' worth of stuff you don't want [if you let him go alone]".
My dad said he hoped I meant that pleasantly, but saw the look in my eyes and knew it was otherwise...in effect, from the tone, he figured out correctly that I was really telling him to shut up, that he was basically asking for trouble.  He said nothing else.
To say the least the pent-up stress of the last week and a half has eaten me alive, and this is usually how it comes out...not pretty.
