This was a tough day.  It's been what meterologists call "triple H": Hazy, hot, and humid.  Relief isn't coming until pretty much the weekend, so the house central air conditioning is going to be working overtime.
I'm in the strict sense half a chapter or so behind on my readings -- most of this is just residual fallout after my fall-apart last week, but that's still better than I've been able to do for pretty much all of my courses so far.  The biggest problem is likely that my notes are a smidge too extensive, but the text is not the best for the style I'm comfortable with, so I guess it's better to have too much instead of too little.
Handing in my midterm paper tomorrow...the rough draft I submitted got feedback to the extent that only minor adjustments were needed, so that was all I did.  I was definitely the beneficiary of the film it was based on having subtitles and not being overly bloody (the latter of these tends to make me sick, which is why I watch very few movies), because that made it a lot easier to provide what the professor was looking for.
I could actually come out of this feeling I earned my grade for once...how cool would that be?
