It's the day after my finals.  I needed to work today to help cover for a staff shortage, most of the pharmacists were out doing CEs -- continuing education.  Speaking of that, I need to start doing that myself pretty soon; I found a site where I can do that on my terms (that my mother uses), and if I think it will work for me she says she'll gift me a year's subscription for it ($75).  Frankly, CEs are expected to be free so I honestly could care less about whether I have to pay for it or not.
Semester results won't be available until next week, but part of me is steaming over the kind of luck I continue to get.  One of my projects this past semester was just plain impossible for me; it was supposed to be a moral compass project but I could find no sense of direction and couldn't get myself to really talk to anyone about it.  I eventually fabricated something together -- I say fabricated because I found things that I could take a stand on, but as to whether I actually believe in them is both questionable and doubtful.
This project ended up being a week plus late, and by the rules laid out in the syllabus, the time penalties alone for that should have been severe enough to make me fail the course because the professor would accept e-mail submissions.  Instead I got out of that paper, which counted for half of my grade, with a straight B.  How I got out with that, I'll never know, but I'll be the first to tell everyone here, it feels incredibly underserved...like I effectively got away with murder.
That's why over the next two weeks there are a fair might bit of planning, stress, and other issues (actually, thanks to some really caring people some help has already come on one) that I'm going to have to try to talk out here.  But seeing as how I don't even have to worry about getting my books for the next couple of weeks, there should be no shortage of opportunities to do that...
