Today I'm finally getting back to my studies...but in the process, I'm feeling pretty distracted. This time, though, there definitely does seem to be a reason why.
See, the way I'd been viewing working through...stuff, we'll call it, my thinking has been that I'd pretty much have to come to terms with what has felt like eleventy-seven things that have happened in my past before I can start to feel better. The puzzle pieces I've been picking up from people here are starting to make more sense now, and that theory is looking like it's, in a way, wrong.
Because in that process -- because some of my previous addiction issues tie into said past -- I haven't been taking time for me, much. And it does, in its own kind of way, explain where some of the frustration I feel is coming from as far as progress in concerned, because that would mean that next-to-nothing that's positive is coming out of my life.
It's difficult for me to explain exactly why I feel cloudy today, but it's pretty safe to say that my old "theory" has been turned on its head with the information I have now. I won't say this is a bad thing because I don't think it is. It's just, I guess, like the idea of taking time for me is...well, foreign...so how to factor it in feels...confusing? Idk.

Finding out something new about yourself is always a little confusing at first...even than it\'s something more accurate than what you previously thought! I think it\'s great that you have a better idea of what you need to do to feel better. Give yourself a little time to adjust to the idea, and I\'m sure it won\' feel so confusing :)
