Today I was able to finish up my last leg of catch-up reading to bring my coursework back up to current material, which frankly didn't seem possible a few days ago. I have more people to thank for that than can reasonably be named here...but you know who you are.

That said, I do feel kind of scared tonight. I'm back in the game as it were, but a part of me worries about the hole I left myself from missing those two exams earlier in the week (one of which was supposed to be a fifth of my grade.)

Also I admit it...SimplyNoise, the white noise site, has been my best friend this week...breaks were taboo this week because I needed to get back to level NOW, because things are going to get harder now that I have l have to start sacrificing time for a media project (I have to watch season one of "Mad Men" for one of my courses). And in another class, I have to use a model that was presented so poorly that I don't understand it and now have to research it on my own, which will almost certainly mean a miss on the first deadline for it.

I shouldn't be saying what I just did, but it's not easy getting a consistent foothold with what I have learned from friends this week, so I feel vulnerable to "one of those nights" tonight. Hopefully leaving this here will help.

David,
Please try not to be too hard on yourself. You are an amazing man.
Please make sure that you are getting enough rest too.
I\'m worried that you are pushing yourself to hard.
Diane :-)
