Normally, right around now I'm aggravated with the holiday season and just want it to be over.  But this year, the feeling is especially bad.
I do wish I knew exactly why, but here's my best guess: Part of it has to be the pressure from the mass media that this is supposed to be the happiest time of the year.  Let's face it: That's impossible for some.
But there's another part of it, too: Before I finally went on the seroquel, I had so many sleep issues that it absolutely played a role in me missing more class sessions this semester alone than I would consciously want to in a lifetime (12, I think it is?).  That's something I'm not proud of.  I've been told I'm in line for an A in my legal research and writing course, but technically that can't happen: I'm supposed to be penalized half a grade level for every class I miss after the first miss.  By that standard, I have a shot at only one A out of four when my dad wants four out of four...and he's so hypertense that explaining to him that this isn't possible for me this semester is a waste of my breath AND my time.
So Idk.  I could be given the biggest hug that DS has ever seen today and I'd probably still be stuck on red for the foreseeable future.  And that's a shame, because I REALLY want out of red.
