Picking up the pieces while waiting the last few minutes before I have to hop for class this morning:
* Even though it was out of my hands, losing my math tutor back in October is still hanging on me. It just points sooooo much to how bad my trust issues really are because even though I can ask classmates for help during the in-class assignments, I can't bring myself to. My heart reached the conclusion many, many years ago that most people simply don't care, and I'm probably stuck with that for life because it has become so entrenched.
* My brother wants to take me to a sporting event for my birthday (I really wish he'd just let that go), but has admitted that the NBA, with the lockout and all, isn't an option. Yeah, so what? It's been a while since I've cared about the pros anyway...
* Speaking thereon, I might as well get a rant off my chest: MLB is finally evening out its leagues in time for the 2013 campaign...but it also plans to add 2 wild-card spots. Well, here's my message to those idiots: If you want wild-cards, get rid of the six-division format, go back to four divisions, put the top two from each division into the playoffs, and make the first round a real Division Series. You'll start getting some fans back because the first round will matter more.
