Today is a long day...work for five hours, then two classes afterward. It will probably feel like it will take forever.
I can't help but drift back to the sleeping problems I had last week when I had lots on my head but little for good outlets, because today I'm almost certainly going to pay the price for that. I have a major exam up in my business law class but since I couldn't stay awake on Wednesday (please refer back a couple of entries) I really don't expect to do well. This is because on Wednesday I was supposed to find out how I'm supposed to answer the questions on said exam, which is taking an essay format. I do have one classmate willing to put with me, but what I don't have is her contact info, so even though I have notes from the book and from class, I'm still going in cold.
I really can't say that I'm shocked to see things snowball like this, it was coming the moment my work circumstances changed. But I just don't know how to take a step back and reassess when life throws me a curve ball. Panic has become such an automatic reaction that I don't know any others. But at the same time I can't help but feel handcuffed from a support network standpoint; all I really have is DS and an e-mail friend who lives in Australia who I chose to retain after leaving a previous depression group because she's proven that she cares. Otherwise, I'm finding that people really don't get it.
This hurts because it means I have to make time to come here, pretty much...and some days, that just isn't there. I know it sounds like I'm complaining heavily but I know in my heart that I wouldn't be so vulnerable if my options weren't so limited. :(
