As I'm putting pieces together about why I tick the way that I do, I'm really getting shocked by the number of things that can or have just set me off.
Perfect example: Today was the Bruins' victory parade through Boston (to all Canucks fans: This isn't me glorifying anything.  There's actually a personal connection which is why this is coming up now).  The local stations here have been all over it...and nothing but.  There was nothing else reported on the radio as far as major headlines.  No fewer than six different channels were covering it on the TV, including all the local Boston channels (plus a station in New Hampshire and a regional cable news network).
There's a part of me that's thinking: Come on guys...nothing can possibly be that important, especially from a sports standpoint).
But as I watched a brief live shot of it before lunch...Idk how to explain it, but it brings to me tears mentioning it.  I just see a perfect reflection of me in the way the parade was covered because I haven't been taking anything lightly in who the hell knows how long.  (please forgive the strong language).  And that...I just find that sad.  I could be wrong but I'm sure this connects to why I've been so hesitant to do something that could be potentially lightening up the load when I'm trying to fall asleep at night...even if right now I'm not completely sure I understand why.
I think finding the connection is a good thing, but...Idk.  The more I'm uncovering, the more things I'm finding out about myself that I just absolutely hate, meaning they don't sound like the kind of person I should be.  (Does anybody think that's a factor with why my sleep pattern has been horrible?)  It's not supposed to be like that.
