Last night I was having issues falling asleep (again) so I was exchanging hugs with one of my friends here...and later she commented on a question I asked about study breaks in the college stress group saying that coming here during a break wasn't working for her.
In so doing, she was actually a big help because it revealed a problem that I now realize I'm going to have going forward.
Emotionally, I'm vulnerable right now.  It's not taking much to distract me.  But I haven't been fortunate enough to have support from family that has actually been useful, and as far as face to face friends goes....forget it.
This is very scary.  I don't work particularly well when my mood is down...I've seen it time and time again.  And I can't say I know how to pick myself up when things go south (this explains why yellow and above seems so far out of reach most of the time).  So what's my gut reaction?  To come here...and I don't know what else I can do.  It's scary because when I came on board I had my credits all but locked (and now I have just found out that I cleared with room to spare), so abusing the privilege didn't do the damage it could have.
But come the fall -- no wait, make that come two weeks from now when I'm taking my summer course -- the problem with how I get morale boosts is going to be a major issue because once I show up here, I'm nearly always good for an hour.  That's too long a break and I know it.
But I just feel so frustrated with myself that I can't see the forest through the trees with other options...so I really don't know what to do.
