Well, today is a good day. I like the idea of trying to think in new ways and thinking about the postive outcome of the whole divorce and what lies ahead. I will focus on my body and my work and my breathing today. I can not let him get the best of me, even though it feels like he got "my best years" why is it that women feel like this? like we are all flowers and once we reached our peak (beauty) we start to wilt (wrinkle)... Oh geez! I am going to try to go jogging tonight! Thank you everyone for the support.

You have alot of great years ahead of you! Some people say life begins at 40, I\'ll find that out next year I guess...but I think of women like actress Dianne Lane? How old is she, 40 something? boy! She\'s hot!!!!

..ahem, sorry. Jogging is great though!

I have to agree with Paul1168 you have a lot of great years ahead. He may have gotten a few years, but your best ones? Oh hell no! You have your daughter to see grow up and you will meet someone who you really do spend your best years with. 50 is the new 20 remember? So we are only beginning to live this life. Keep the breathing up your doing great today.

You do have plenty of years ahead of you. I know how you feel though. I am like why did I waste nearly 7 years of my life with this guy? You do start to get a new outlook on life at 40, you will notice some changes in priorities in a good way-at least I did. I think you are making more mature decisions than I did at 37!
