I think that I am a fairly intelligent guy,, and keenly aware when someone is throwing me a knuckle ball,, and yet seems that I get dumped on again and again,, it all has to do with my expectations and why things do not happen a certain way,, It's the oldest story in the book,,, and I get taken on it each and every time,, I wish I had an answer but I don't ,,, and so things go on without much of an outcome ,,, met someone yesterday,, and without pushing it ,, I figured that she would show up at the drop in center I have begun to go to a lot more ,,, she didn't ,, I did ,, and my grand plan fell into the  rubbish bin again,, well... for today anyway,, still today I charged myself up for it ,,,enuf !!

Paid a camera citation today,,, I thought that they were deemed illegal and so unenforceable  by the Florida court ??...on the notice it said if you didn't pay and you  took it to court ,, if you lose you have to pay a much greater amount plus court  cost which are higher than the issued ticket ,,,  The State makes it own laws based on a perverse use of computer technology which may be faulty in some cases and then you are punished to a much greater extent if you try to question their authority to do so,,.. I can see the useful function of cameras to thwart terrorist or bank robbers but certainly not as a cash cow for strapped cities to milk an unsuspecting public based on very petty uses because these people are too overwhelmed ,,, so I paid the $158...  by the way ,,at least here in Florida ,, if you are a law enforcement person ,, whether on duty or not ,,, you get a waiver if you pick up a camera citation,,, I read that online yesterday,,

I think when they began using the cameras that is when the duration of the yellow light was severely restricted compared to what is was before the cameras were ever used. We have all kinds of proof of the scams these cameras are a part of over the years to fleece us of our money. I\'m lucky in that I drive very little and very slow and never try to \'beat the light\' any longer -- so far no ticket but it is only a matter of time before the figure out how to \'snag\' my money somehow.

If for some reason you let someone borrow your car...you are still liable for the ticket. My son found out when his g/f borrowed his vehicle and that happened...
