I learned today that my cat Wishbone has passed away.He was attacked by 2 dogs and didn't survive the attack.I raised him from a kitten and he had a very sweet personality.I will really miss the little guy.I spoiled him rotten.I am a little sad this evening.

I am so so sorry honey, I am always worried when my cats are not in sight or if there\'s no response when I call them. There are cars and dogs and sometimes their not safe from other people but that\'s the risk of being a cat owner isn\'t it. Cat\'s are pussycats at home, but wild outside and we have to respect them as such. It doesn\'t take away the grief we feel and I had a neighbour once who actually witnessed a dog kill her cat, in her garden. She was distraught. Another time I had to take a cat literally from out of the jaws of a greyhound, unfortunately it was too late and the cat died later at the vets.You might find some comfort DS on their cat lovers site, there are people who can help you come to terms with your loss. There\'s a lady called Catslave on there who rescues cats and has a lot of sound advice and a lot of humour.
