I bought a parakeet on impulse from our local pet store a few months ago.I'm not really sure why I did it.I didn't plan on buying anything when I took my daughter in there.We were just planning to look and leave but it didn't work out that way.He has been a lot of company for me.He is learning to talk.So far all he says is pretty but I'm working on getting him to say his name.He loves music and he will mimic the sounds that the music makes and that's funny.I've also seen him kind of dance up and down his perch which a sight to see.I am planning on getting him a mate.
