I went to the police today and told them everything about what this man did.I really don't know where I found the strength to do that but I refuse to let this erson get away with the scam he pulled. As humiliating as it was I'm glad i did it.I had pictures letters and other things so I think I have a pretty good case against this person.Whatever happens I am going to let the police handle it.I feel a lot better than I did last night. Now comes the part where I have to start putting myself back together again. It's not like i haven't been there before.I refuse to be a victim and let a person get away with somethig like what this person did.I had trust issues before. Now they are much worse but it's nothing I can't get over with time. The hardest part I guess was walking into the police station as crazy as that sounds.I really don't know what I would do without my mom.She is my support system.

I know how hard it is - I too was scammed by someone ... I\'ve lost everything. He threatened me and his associates threatened me, and one actually ended up assaulting me. It\'s been over a year, and I\'m still dealing with the aftermath...good for you for taking a strong stand early!

Thinking of you during your difficult time...hugz

It\'s happened to me too. It happened over the summer. He wasn\'t able to get money out of me but he had my heart and soul. I was so hurt when I found out what he did. I wasn\'t alone. He had a whole collection of us. There was no money involved so there was nothing the police could do but it sure does make you start to question if the people in your life are really who they say they are. You aren\'t alone, Joy. We\'re here for you.

HUGS,
