ok
Well, nothing much to write about. I just try to jot things down each day. I like using this journal rather than writing something out by hand in my little book.
I am on my second day of no effexor. Funny thing about it is that it really activates my bowels. While I think that is not a bad thing necessarily, I find it inconvenient at times. The real problem is how my head feels. I feel like my brain is swimming around up there. I feel like if I make it thru today then I will be fine...I hope that is the case.
I went to lunch with my "unit" at work yesterday. What a nightmare. We try to go to lunch for each other's birthdays and such. Yesterday was just to catch up on our holiday lunch that we never got to in December. Well, we went to a new restaurant. It was not the greatest food in the world and we waited a long time for our food. My bitch coworkers sat and complained the entire time. I have no idea why they even stayed and waited for the food. I suppose so they could complain about that too. One ordered chicago dogs...She opened her mouth and both those hotdogs and the pile of french fries were gone! The other ordered a burger and fries. She always orders fries and they have to be extremely hot and crispy or she is unhappy. I have no idea why she orders them when no restaurant ever will get them right! So, she complained and complained and complained to all of us and then to the waitress when we were leaving. The poor waitress tried to make things right but the coworker would not have it. The waitress was in tears. I was so embarrassed to be associated with these people. I told my boss that I will never again go to another lunch with these people. I told her that it is hard enough to listen to them all day long complaining and bitching and then to spend my precious lunch time with them was too much. I won't do it. I told her that my lunch hour is my time to get away from their mouths and feel like the world is normal. I haven't heard anything from the supervisor...I don't really care what she has to say. If that makes me not a "team player" so be it. I cannot stand to be around people who are so negative. I have enough going on in my life!
At any rate, enough with my complaining. I am sounding like my coworkers. I want to be a more positve person. So, I made a positive step there!
Now, if another job would just open up somewhere in the building, I would jump at the chance to take it! LOL...just gotta be patient!

I like to to put things in my journal here so I can go back and keep track of everything. To me it is easier than to write it down. Sounds like a typical day at work. I think every office is like that. Any way, I hope you have a great day.
Maybe it wasn\'t the lack of Effexor but the bad company at lunch that activated your bowels. LOL I applaud you for taking back your lunch time. After all it is yours to use as you choose. Why should you be held captive by a bunch of sniveling, whining people who have nothing better to do with their time than find something to complain about or make some poor waitress who probably already feels bad enough feel worse about her job. You don\'t owe them that. Hats off to you!
Gentle hugs, Linda
