I know the twelve step philosophies contradict what God is doing in our lives, but that don\'t stop God from doing his thing. Remember; Exodus 34:14 Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. Choosing a higher power of your choice is not of God. It seems Godly but it\'s not. Google ``Alcoholics Exposed\'\' and see for yourself. Scripture is the power that works not the 12 steps. Bill W And Dr.Bob were devil worshipers. You gonna be alright this is Gods business.
Matter of perception. Countless people have come to accept a Higher Power through twelve step programs. God uses addictions & recovery programs because He loves us wherever we are. His love for us is not dependent on our actions, that would be earned love. All a matter of interpretation of the same scripture, all a matter of perceptions. Peace & love to all.
