Question
I have a question. Do you (person reading this) not care about Geo's surgery and don't want to hear about it, or do you like the updates? This surgery has been consuming my time and it's all I do all day. Right now it's a big part of my life. Tomorrow (Halloween) is Geo's birthday and we are going out to celebrate.
As for me, I've been getting stress migraines and muscle aches. I need to do something for myself, and if I have the money I'm going to try and get a pedicure. Lisa and I are going to hang out on Sunday, so that's when I would go. I've been so involved in the surgery prep that I just feel like I have no time. My mom is going to try and come down and visit after his surgery so I don't have to do everything myself. I miss my mom, and I really hope she comes down. It would be nice to have someone else cook for once. Not that I'm mad that Geo doesn't cook... he cooked for me all those nights I worked, for 3 years. I'm just returning the favor.

Hi Larissa...I haven\'t been around DS much, but like catching up on your journal when I can. And, personally, I like hearing about Geo, because he\'s such a big part of your life. I think its important for you to journal about Geo and the surgery.... I know I do enjoy reading your journals and Geo is part of your life too... when you are helping to care for someone (spouse or other) it can be very helpful to journal to vent and get it all out when you need to.. its helped me a lot!

Naturally you should put Geo\'s updates in your journal. Your journal is for you to ge things out of your system to help you coupe.
I\'m glad to hear you are going with Lisa for a pedicure. That sounds like something nice to do for yourself.. I do hope your mom comes to visit. I know you miss her very much.
I would be disappointed if you didn\'t journal about geo and the surgery, he is a major part of your life and this surgery is major for the both of you. journal away....... as for you, I really hope you take these migraines an stress feelings to nheart and set much needed time for yourself and get that pedicure or whatever will get you and your mind off the surgery. I would like to get a pedicure too, much needed. have a great time on geos birthday, tell geo happy birthday and I am happy your mom will be there to help you, it is a lot of work to be a caregiver. hugs and love
nice of your mom to help you after the surgery. glad it is going well and no complications. pedicures are great. i hope you find the extra money for it. if there is a beauty school near you, they are super cheap for all of that stuff the only bad, is that it takes them double the time to do anything they do.
