Frustrating
Yesterday was so frustrating. I was supposed to get an MRI of my foot to check to see if there was any damage, and the doctor wrote 'ankle" instead, which means they didn't even scan the problem area. Not to mention that they changed my appointment late Sunday night so there was nothing I could do about my transportation (I use the van from my insurance company) so I was waiting there for 3 hours! Normally I like that place, but I don't think I'm going to go back there for an MRI. Last night was wonderful, though... Geo and I went to a live stream of the Sony presentation for their new games and systems, It was so much fun! People were clapping and cheering as if they were there at the seminar and not in a movie theater. I got home around midnight and crashed. Today I saw my dentist about a hole in my tooth and they said that they have to get insurance verification first. That, and I need a deep cleaning that's going to cost me $400. I might do it one quarter at a time so I don't need to pay the full amount at once. Just more reason to save money!

Did you call the doctor that ordered the MRI and tell him they didnt scan the right part of your foot? Thats so disappointing and frustrating when they dont get things right.
Thats great you and Geo got out and got to enjoy something fun!
Wowww dentists are so expensive arnt they grrrr..... your insurance dont cover cleaning? I always thought most dental insurance policys covered cleaning because it was a preventive thing so you could avoid more costly problems. Not sure about where you live but i know here there places like dental clinic that has a sliding fee like at the dental college? Might save ya alittle money just not sure what you have there.
agree with g2g about your doctor, I would have given all of them a piece of my mind! as for the dentist, I cant stand them and I have severe dental phobia, I cant get myself to go. I think that there are clinics, college students that will do those types of things for very cheap, I would check it out. hugss
I\'m with Ann. I hate going to the Dentist. I had to go last week and...oh yeah I have a cavity so I have to go back. Trying not to think about it. I\'m sorry about the MRI. I hope you can get it rescheduled so that it has a chance of being helpful.
My insurance does cover regular cleanings, but I need a special clean since I have a bit of bone loss in my jaw. It\'s normally $2,000 but my insurance covers all but $400 of it.
I can\'t believe the dr. put down the wrong information. Can you work something out with the dentist to pay off the $400?
Glad you and Geo Had a great time at the Sony presentation. how did you get to go to something like that?
We got to go to the conference because Geo\'s a member of a Sony site and they were giving away free tickets. It was a blast... even though I was exhausted by the time I got home.
That is neat they give away free tickets to things like that.... not to many things such as entertainment are free anymore.
So bad that the MRI was not written right! That blame goes on the doctor not the technicians.
Sony presentation - SO COOL!
