Busy
Lately I've been busy with doctors and sleep. I had 2 appointments this week and a couple more next week. it just never ends. I do have some good news... a couple days ago I broke the 10,000 steps barrier. Now I just need to find a way to do 15,000. I go walking a lot with my friend Lisa... we walk the mile and a half to the gym, work out at the gym and walk that mile and a half back. It's hard, but rewarding. I had fun at my mom's... we went to the small fair that they were having up there. It was nice to get out. I even went on a roller coaster that was so scary because you feel like you are about to fly off the tracks. I had an awesome Philly cheese steak too. Our stove fuses were busted so we couldn't cook. Finally someone came to change the fuses (it only took them 6 days) and so now we can cook again. I need to get my contacts fixed... they were supposed to be bifocal lenses but I''m still having trouble seeing fine print. I'm 31 years old and I need bifocals. My eye doctor said it's from the medication. Great.. just one more thing I'm losing with my meds (my memory is almost gone). Not much I can do until I see the doctor again. I had an MRI yesterday and I will get the results on May 1st when I see my doctor again. I don't know why, but I've been having a lot of migraines. it could be the contacts, I'm not sure. but I'm doing good, so that's what matters. I'm sorry it took me so long to update... just been busy and tired.

Congrats on the 10,000 steps thats so cool! I really need to get out and start walking again... just most the time i feel so lazy because im emotionally exhausted so thats not a good combination for me. That is great that you have a walking buddy its way more fun to work out with someone rather than alone all the time.. I hope your MRI comes back ok and the migraines go away those are no fun! It may very well be from your lenses not being correct if you have trouble with fine print it might be causing the migraines .... sure hope they figure it out fast for ya.
Wowww the trip to your moms sounds like it turned out really good.... A ROLLERCOASTER!!!! No way not for me im a whimp those things scare the heck out of me lol I will blame it on me being almost 50 i dont deal well with feeling like my stomach is going to fly out threw my nose lol Happy you had fun :)
Well done with the 10 000 steps. Going for 15 000 is a great goal. I\'m still struggling to get the 10 000 consistent. If the migraines showed up at the same times as the new contacts it could be something that simple. Fingers crossed. :)
I\'d like to blame my fear of rollercoasters on my age like good2go but I was a coward as a teenager as well. LOL. Glad you had fun.
It was such a big deal for me to go on the rollercoaster since I haven\'t been able to fit on one for years. I used to go to Six Flags all the time and there was a time when I had ridden every ride in the park (including the kids rides when I was smaller). It was just great to feel that adrenaline rush.
great job on the 10,000 steps!! you are doing so good and having a buddie system is so helpful for both of you. I am so happy you are having fun and I would never, no matter my age, go on a rollercoaster, so good for you. I am hoping and thinking it is the contacts, when my prescription was off I was getting terrible headaches, not migraines, just bad headaches. I hope it is that simple. hugsss
yeah, getting older sucks. always health issues. wouldn\'t mind that philly cheesesteak. where did you get it?
i get motion sickness so no rollercoasters. yeah, they are scary. xxoo
Happy to hear you had a good time at your mom\'s. Congrats on the 10,000. I hope you get good results from the M.R.I. Good luck with the migraines. B-2 is supposed to help.
