Today wasn't such a bad day. I had PT today and worked myself hard. I want to be sore tomorrow, but I don't think I will. The first couple of times they told me to do 3 reps of 30 on almost everything (stretches, squats, leg raises, etc) and now I'm doing 3 reps of 40 or 50. I'm gaining weight, but I don't know if it's because I'm building muscle or because I'm eating crap. I know I'm burning a ton of calories at physical therapy and then walking home, but I still am gaining weight. I'm having trouble with that. Yesterday I went on a Taco Bell binge (Nachos Bell Grande, 2 bean burritos and 1 soft taco) and I wanted to purge so bad, I resisted, though, so yay for me! When I saw the scale this morning I felt a twinge of regret since it said I was 226.Last week I was in the 218-220 range, I tried a bit to eat better today... I had my peanut butter mini bagel for breakfast, rice and black beans with some chicken breast for lunch, and spaghetti with eggplant parm for dinner. I'll have the rest of the parm for breakfast tomorrow.
Geo's dad looked at the car and said that there was just a leak in the hose in the cooling system and the rest of the stuff that the guy said was wrong was fine. I'm not sure when we get the car back... it just depends on their schedule. His stepmom is taking classes for the GRE, and his dad works full time. We were over there Thursday night to babysit since his dad was in Dallas for work. We will probably be babysitting a lot once Geo's stepmom starts more classes and his dad has to go back to Dallas for training. But it's a good job so it's worth it. They might even move out there since that's where a lot of airlines are headquartered. His dad is a manager for airline mechanics, and a mechanic himself. He currently works for American Airlines.
Tomorrow I want to have a lazy day. Sleep in as late as I want, putz around a bit, go for my walk and maybe do some of my pt stuff. I've been working hard, and next week is going to be a busy week, so I want to have a day of rest.

How great to know it is nothing major with the car and it will be running again soon. Isn\'t wonderful to have a mechanic in the family!

Enjoy your lazy day! We need them every so often to recoup.

you have beeen working really hard at pt, and that is great, the only way to heal. eating out isnt good for anyone on a regular basis and costly also. try and stagger it with some home cooked meals, i know easier said then done and our minds think we want the junk. great news about the car and enjoy your restfull day, you deserve it!
