Thanksgiving

Sorry I haven't been posting for a while, it's been a crazy Thanksgiving. Turkey day itself wasn't too bad... we went over to Geo's dad's house for dinner. We had a good time watching the football game, and his dad looked at the car for us. We did get home at a reasonable time, but I forgot to do my journal. 
Black Friday was good.. I got a good night's sleep and went to hang out with my friend Kenia. We went to a mall to eat, and then went around shopping a bit. I didn't buy anything, just looked. It wasn't super packed since it was later in the evening (it was 8 and the mall closed at 9) so it was fun. We did have some drinks, and the bartender was really cool. He did all these twisty moves to try and impress us, and even gave us a discount on our drinks. I was happy with that, since my friend paid for dinner and I paid for drinks. I got home late and went to bed.
Saturday we spent cleaning, since my friend Mary was supposed to come over. She ended up not being able to, which sucked, but she worked two 12 hour days and one 10 hour day so I could imagine how tired she was. 
I cooked my turkey on Sunday, did the whole nine yards- stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy. I just need to bake some banana bread now, since I have some bananas that are almost ready to go. I'm going to have to go grocery shopping soon, and since we are out of food stamps, it's going on my card :( . We just bought food the wrong way this month. Hopefully we can do better in December.
