I am still having trouble with the panic thing. I wake every morning and as soon as I open my eyes here it comes. Anyone have any suggestions beside "stop sleeping". It is enough to make people suicidal, I truly understand when someone says I would rather not be here. Everyday is agony for me, my smile is fake and forced and I really deep down in my heart don't want it to be this wasy but I just can't shake it! But since the holidays are over I fill a little better!

The panic thing started getting the best of me...I saw my doctor and she perscribed a mild anti-depressant (Lorazepam...1mg 2x per day, but I only take 1x a day...no ill effects & it took care of the panic attacks. Whatever works...she warned me that it is best to treat these attacks early as they can take on a life of their own after a while.
Whatever works for you...massage, etc.

Hey everybody, saw my Doctor today and we are going to try something else for the nightmare, panic thing. I\'ll let you all know if it works. This site and all my friends here is helping so much. I can truly say I LOVE each of you. But you know if this is God\'s will, then, it is. I think I am trying to accept that now... You know we are all changed people now. WE would have never came to this site and found each other!! We will never be who we were before our traumatic losses... and I have been meeting new people that I would not have if this had not happened. Everyone thinks and says, \"you have been so strong and accepted this so well and they don\'t know how I do it\".... well I\'m not and it is showing at home and work. Instead of saying I\'m OKAY when someone ask how I\'m doing I am telling them now (family and friends) that I am going through a horrible time right now, I cry every day, throw up at least 3-4 times a week, I weigh around 200 but I have (and needed) lost about 15 lbs since Sept. I quit my job, am filing for SSI, basically my Doctor told me I have had a nervous breakdown... And since I am not hiding it anymore I feel a little better. Dear God losing my child has been the most hurtful, agonizing, overwhelming, unreal, sickening thing I have ever been through, and I have been through alot of other hurtful things but this one has KICKED MY BUTT!!! Thanks for listening that felt good too!! Love and Prayers to everyone here!!
