Ok it's been awile since I've writen. Today is day 66 of sobriety and I feel great!! Tomorrow is Friday and the last day of work for the week. I've been hanging out with my family quite a bit lately. Gone to breakfast with my brother and friends the last 6 or 7 Sunday mornings and to breasfast with my father and brother on my Saturdays off of work. Last night my mother and I were talking and she said that my dad had commented that I was a totally different person to be around. It felt so good to hear that it literally brought tears to my eyes because up until recently, we haven't had much of a connection. So heres kinda a funny story. A couple weeks ago my brother and I took the 28 checy to Golden for the cruise. It rained the whole time, and not just a drizzle, but a down pour. We're heading down the road when all of a sudden I see that the lane in front of us is flooded with about two feet of water. There was no time to even slow down before hitting it. It was hard to see because the truck has no windshield wipers. As far as that goes, it has only half a floor, the side windows are made of plywood, and the windshield flaps in the breeze. So anyway, hit the puddle at about 35 mph and it was like coming to the bottom of a water slide. We were drenched. Anyway, I'm done rambling. I couldn't help myself. I have more caffiene in me than I know what to do with. Today was a great day and tomorrow will be even better. Ya'll take care now ya hear.
