This yo-yo cycle is so exhausting. After a great day yesterday she complains about not getting enough sleep (wonder why) and later this evening complains it is going to be so difficult working, coming home to fix dinner, then helping the kids with homework when she's on her own. The tone is not one of contemplating reasons to stay but instead that it is so unfair. Why can't she stay consistent and what motivates her to want to spend time with me or get closer remains for every day following? Why does what she should appreciate in me be unfair that she will have to do for herself if I'm not there? I almost wonder if she is just testing to see if I can maintain my understanding and kindness while she is saying that crap.
