morning,
watching through the window. overcast skies, earth still wet from continuing storms.
i spy two pretty brown thrashers, Georgia's state bird......& a tiny bird on the top of the fence, not much bigger than my thumb. rounder certainly, but not much bigger. there are hundreds of dandelions in bloom.........happy yellow faces lifted skyward waiting to drink in a cup of morning sun whenever it shines it rays.
squirrels are playing .....racing. a robin is looking for worms. the singing is lovely. the birds come up with incredible tunes........!
i promised myself i would not speak of symptoms/complaints. .........i have really enjoyed the conversation we've had lately, the notes about what you're up to, the clever and funny and endearing things you say.........your support and kindness are so appreciated.
when i read the things you share i feel so much more human, like a real person, not a Pinocchio on the carpenter's shelf.......thank you for YOU all the time, all day long.
i pray for you, i think about you.........and i hope you know that you have made such a difference, been such a wonder in my life.........time to head back to the cotton room and rest. miss u mucho mucho.
i know that Mr. Milsap probably meant this more as a falling in love song, but I think the lyrics are pretty wonderful for saying thank you to special friends like you!

Georgia Bird Girl, it is so wonderful that we do have each other to lean on & support with our prayers as only we that have to suffer with these dreaded illnesses truly know how each of us feel.
Ronnie\'s song is such a good choice for us. See he is also a NC boy - born in the mountains of NC (Robbinsville). NC has had some good ones over the years (Don Gibson - Earl Scruggs - Randy Travis) + several of the new ones.
Hope your day continues to go well & the storms are not too severe - we are in their path too.
I don\'t know what I would do without my DS friends. Thank God for you all.

no...........i have not (she said grinning from ear to ear)........do i pet it, fry it, sleep with it, leave it to you in my will.........do i capture it, wear it........or use it to dry my hair? if i see one will it eat me? kick me from here to timbuktu? will it fit in my pocket or try to steal my car..........what in the world is a quokka?????
i refuse to peek into google........waiting on you to give the allsafe sign!!!! how many squirrels can we send you???????????? i have a lot of squirrels in my yard.........they would all like to emigrate to your yard, but i told them to chill out..........and wait to be invited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ha ha ha ha.I just woke up and read your comment.I nearly wet myself laughing.You will have to google for quokka.They are very cute and definitely safe.Best your squirrels stay at home, it\'s far too hot here, they could end up troppo like me!
Thankful for you, Ruthie, love your journals and am thankful for DS friends too. Outside more now, not on DS but try to journal every Friday or Saturday, and catch up. I love Robins, my fav. is little yellow finches, so delicate and pretty. I had pet canaries for a few years, the males are the best singers huh? Squirrels broke my bird feeder so DH is fixing it....need to outsmart those rodents. Love and hugs
