Moments of no pain...
Feeling like myself for a moment.
Knowing that I slept through the night...
That I can put my feet on the floor & walk...that brings me joy.
My family brings me joy, just knowing they love me.
My ukulele, my daughter, my hubby, my doggies, walks around the duck pond, driving my corolla, singing, eating fresh bread, family get together, smelling vanilla, a good deal, clean sheets, ....
Seeing my grandkids - hearing a good gospel song - watching a thrilling sporting event - going to the frig or the cupboard & exactly what I want to eat is there - seeing the sun shining - being able to make the 10 mile round trip to the grocery store & back without being in pain - being able to take a shower & not feel worse when I get out that I did when I got in - sleeping more than 2 hours straight at anytime of the day or night.
Most of them may be small but they are big events in my life now. For instance, I went to CVS Friday as I had a coupon as well as a discount on my CVS card. Bought nearly $19 worth of stuff for only $8.18. I was so happy you would have thought I had balanced our national budget - believe I have as good a chance at it as the politicians do. LOL
A gentle touch from my husband. Time spent with my daughter and my grandkids! Surprise phone calls from someone I thought had forgotten all about me. A day when I can leave the house, get dressed, walk and shower all in the same 24 hours. FRIENDSHIP! The still quiet voice, when my illness dies down for a few hours.....and I can hear it!
i\'m totally trippin\', when i posted this last night it didn\'t save, so i did it again.......and it is also up........and other friends are responding to it. that\'s a DS first for me...........whoa! no clue how to combine them........my head hurts, seriously how did that happen? lol......life is a mystery.
My fella. My fella playing his ukelele and singing. My critters playing together. Critters purring. My mom being happy. A productive day. Being crafty. Hanging out with my friends, here and closer by. Evening chai latte. Watching TV that makes me LOL. The unexpected surprises. YOU.
