Hi,
Woke up to the sound of rain..........lovely rain. I loved puddles......loved the rivulets of water streaming down the street. Loved the feel of good clean raindrops on my face.........we would run, jump, splash with our galoshes........pretend we were giants and land our small feet with a resounding SPLAT!
My ribs ache. Tightness, heaviness.........could it be our friend costochondritis......had it before and the pain was much worse......which is good, maybe a lighter case? Can't sit up for long. It's worse on the left side.
Feel blessed........put a small roast w/ carrots & a thinly sliced potato in the oven to slow roast. It will start to smell like home soon........the spices & goodness of home cooking.
It helps to stretch a bit and it helps to stop too. Weak smile.........tired eyes.
Tiredness brings reading issues.........there is a TV Guide on the screen.........maybe everybody has that? Not sure........as I scroll up and down I can see the listings. When my eyes are wonky it makes for some strangeness........for example "Free Magic Bullet"........looks like "Free Magic Buffet". (definitely over soup.........so hopeful, poor little birdie) Next I'll be seeing an oasis........
It helps me laugh.....keeps me relatively confused. So looking forward to a home cooked meal today.
Glad to have sweet wild kitties for company.
Rio was a dumpster diving hobo in another life. He is always up for "going in" and straggling treasures all over the place. Granted it's usually just kleenex.........feel kind of bad for him........until he manages to tip the small trash can over............the other day i said "don't act like a small turd." Another forgotten Dadism sprang forth ........how does a turd, small or otherwise "ACT?" ...so many unanswered questions from childhood.
Annie puts up with both of us............thanks Annie! They come back from playing and hang close on either side of me. Two small body guards that purr. So protective.
Take care, say your prayers............I'll keep you in mine and hope you will keep me in yours. Gonna set the alarm clock so the roast has a chance of survival...........time to sleep some more!
Soft hugs,
Sparrow

Raining here too today. Better than the snow we got Saturday. It\'s my left leg that is bothering me the most.
Made it to the grocery store & picked up a small steak - that will be my main meal sometime today - just not sure when.
Not much else to report. No cats to run all over me & no dog to sit on my lap. Just me, my computer, my TV & I.
So glad to see you here Serce. Get yourself checked out for costochondritis if that pain continues ( I have had that before too and know how painful it can get ) . Still wondering what 4.6 laughs is from you last journal?? Hope that roast turns out mouth watering lay yummy.
Hugs
Jen

I wondered about that 4.6 in your last journal, as well. Sometimes you say the strangest, funny things and THOSE are the ones that get stuck in ma head...and stay there! LOL!
Good food! YUM! And yes, that\'s the TV guide channel that\'s confusing you. I don\'t use it. I don\'t watch too much TV, actually, I\'m more prone to pick up a controller and play a video game. I LOVE these things. I play mind games, you know, stuff to make you think, or hone your skills.
Don\'t tell anybody, but Bobby\'s daughter is a professional \"dumpster diver\" and man, does she have an attic full of stuff. I mean GOOD stuff. Knows what days, what stores, when to go, it\'s perfectly legal.....and she belongs to a club with other dumpster divers! It\'s not like going to the back of a diner for left over food. There are BIG stores, like craft stores, that simply throw things away. GOOD THINGS, wine glasses, jewlery, house products. In perfect shape, still in their wrapping.I have no idea why they toss this good stuff. My my DIL gets it. Then they\'ll have a yard sale and make money on the stuff. I don\'t know why the stores don\'t do that, instead of throwing away, tableclothes, that people need!
Smart Annie and Rio.....they do things that are very interesting and almost always bring something to my mind.
Rambling now....of to go get some food! xoxoxo MWAHHHHHHHH!
NEXT DAY...FROM UP IN SNOW COUNTRY:
Was that your Birthday Dinner a day early, or is there something even more special on Todays Birthday Menu?
Dear Sparrow! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthdayyyy, dear Sparrow, happy birthday to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope your birthday was great!
Hugs and love

Happy Birthday, Serce!!! I\'m sure I\'m late, but better late than never, right?! Hope it was happy!!
Your two kitties \"body guards\" sound precious. Furry babies are always welcome, loving, sweet company. Hugs to you. Hope today is a better day for you painwise.
