meep meep.
the roadrunner is long gone. i'm all smushed down on the road, but i'm not unhappy. my brain is quiet. the pain is backing off. it's there, but it's at a distance. if you've ever had a migraine you know what i mean. it's part of the recovery. my vision is wonky still. typing more from memory than from actuality. is that a correct use of english? ask me if i care.........
ahhhhhhh, it is beginning, my uberplatinum old lady with an attitude credit card must have arrived. i' m feeling a little spunky. good.
i like dandelions. they never get too far outta control, cause Bruce always shows up to mow em down........but yes i like em. we can agree to disagree.........hugs! they are happy little yellow bits of joy to me.......they make me smile.
yesterday i walked outside in the rain with a pair of scissors and trimmed plants. yes i was in my pj's. nutty/naughty or not that's what i did, then i went in the house --- i was shivering, duh, good thing i have an all access pass to a hot shower. the rain felt good for a few minutes and then it didn't. oh my.
it is a bright sunshiny day today. i have this hanging plant and it is coral bloom city. no memory of what it is.......so coral bloom city it is. ya'll don't mind too much do ya? i dealt with Pedro. wow. what a saga. in the end they gave me a new phone number cause they gave my phone number to somebody else. losers. he took minutes and days of service away. can we say no no Pedro? i got my days back but he would not budge on the minutes. bad Pedro. go to your room Pedro. no tapioca for you. i had to laugh, he did the reprogramming thing and my missing days of service showed back up ---- he had accidentally given me ONE FREE minute back. he was UNHAPPY about it. customer service is not a world we should live in, we are to get in and then get out. and definitely let go of it or we will all go mad. not worth it.............save yourself for bigger and better things.
i get to recup today and see how life is tomorrow. i need kitty stuff, food and litter. i need to do paperwork for met life, due very soon. the doc did her part, now i must complete my part. i am giving myself a due date of Sept. 5-7. yup a deadline with leeway is important. used to use it with contributing authors back in the day, give then deadlines and actual drop dead dates factored in so all would go well. we need this with life so why not with the challenge of illness? the paperwork is very important, it is for my continued disability insurance coverage by my insurance carrier. i get this along with some coverage from SS. it must be completed every two years until i turn 65. (i completely forgot this of course, so it threw me, but i'm getting it handled.......tell me again why i don't have an assistant? just humor me.......)
my labs showed some high levels of infection consistent for someone with chronic illness. guess i'm still sick...........not exactly one of my best stand up jokes.......i'll work on it. what else? don't know, just really glad to be out of the direct radar of the mighty migraine. it is really & truly wonderful.
please pray for my little sister. she just had back surgery. the procedure went well, but she is having a hard time with pain. being unable to take pain meds runs in our family unfortunately, she is on something that is sort of bringing the pain down, but she is all broken out and itching like a dog with fleas and she is on benadryl for it........but it is miserable........i asked if they could maybe use a different type of med, a sleep med or a muscle relaxant to help her rest instead of a pain med........she's been throwing up and so nauseous............hate to say it but in some things, like pain meds we are like two genetic peas in a pod. we just can't take pain meds well at all, we IS ALLERGIC. i am worried and praying for her, she is my LEETLE SEESTER.......remember her to God as Donna, she's mighty sweet.
that 's all for now folks, biggest hugs in the universe are on sale now for all angels so i'm sending them out in big balloon like bunches to all ya'll..........yup, my southern is showin'!

Glad the migraine has abated some, Sparrow. Good news!
I see a bit of your \"I\'m gonna make it\" side in this journal!! You uberplatinum old lady you!! LOL...you so funny!!!
I will pray for your sister. I know you\'re literally feeling her pain. Two pees in a pod, you say. I think that\'s wonderful. Just so sorry that you both have the genetic disposition to NOT be able to take pain meds. Me either. Don\'t know who to blame it on. Actually, since CFS, I\'ve been unable to take them. SO UNFAIR, EH????
I pray for both of you. I know your concern for your sister will up your anxiety, so I\'m praying that you will both find relief from your pain.
I love dandelions! Yellow is a bright happy color, like sunshine.....suck it allllllllll up, and smile for me!
I will pray for Donna. And for you! And maybe for a dose of reality and discernment for Pedro. Oh, just think how sad Pedro\'s life must be. You are so right, we cannot dwell too long in customer service land or we will SURELY go MAD. I know that feeling. blood pressure goes up just dialing their number!
You don\'t have an assistant because ... then, what on earth would you do with your time? And besides, you have to keep the SS people busy with paperwork or else they would be completely lost.
It\'s kinda funny that you like dandelions. I don\'t mind them but they drive my hubby totally mad. He\'s a turf guy, so I guess, in that industry, they send the wrong message and I just laugh at his anger towards dandelions lol.
Hope you are feeling better. Thanks for your encouraging words. Yes, let\'s focus on the journey, not the race, not how long it is taking, but just moving forward.
