it's relentless.
it won't let go or let up
i can get in a kind of groove.......out here in the woods........and just sort of accept that this is the deal.
with heavy brain fog i can drift through time ..........every now and again it hits hard.
that i am ill, how lousy i feel............how tender, how bruised and battered my body feels fighting these conditions day in and year out as I drift closer and closer to two decades of this kind of existence and i think it is relentless, it will always be relentless.
i try to soften and cushion existence as much as i can............thick blankets, rugs, cool comfy cotton and lots of pillows to protect sore achy muscles.  softness is the shield of choice around here.  i have gel pillows that cool and conform to the contour of my head and neck.  i try to pamper and lavish all surfaces with soft protection, from microbead support bolster pillows (in pink hot pink no less) to thick cushy slippers that treat my sore painful body.....................today it felt relentless.
is there some amazing orphan drug out there that could help ease the pain for odd ducks who can't take a lot of the usual drugs because of allergic reactions?  is there something out there.......i rely heavily on my heavenly Father.  I do, I pray and pray.  It is a good way to go, I have tried making my way without His guidance and solace and it leads to the darkest hours.
i guess we all just get so tired of pain........i was massaging my neck and head earlier.......trying to gently, very gently encourage the pain in my glands and the back of my head to ease up.  the pain in my throat causes me to choke.  i woke up dry heaving and spent the day fighting a migraine.  it's been a while since i had one visit me.  i iced my whole head and then hit the shower.  i couldn't figure out what to do to get ahead of the pain.
forgive me for being discouraged today, forgive me for complaining.  i have a comfortable nest and i have all of my basic needs more than met........it's the pain, the relentless deep ache that gives me pause.  it will turn around......something will happen to help me through........prayers from friends always help.  time to go to bed.........

Ruthie I feel so bad for you. The struggles me all deal with from day to day. I pray your pain lets up. Could have allot to do with the weather. Wish I was your neighbor and not just across the border. We all need a friend. I have my hubby but it\'s not the same as a gal friend. We get it! I will pray for you tonight. May you have brighter days ahead. Do you get to talk to family much? Gentle hugs my sweet sparrow.
I\'m dealing with a red rash over a big part of my body. Need a dull moment. hugs & love xo

Hey Little Sparrow, your day & the way you feel describes my current status so well. More pain that I like to have & nothing to seemingly take it away. Like you I find prayer to be my best ally. Meds sure don\'t help - not even showers for that matter.

Do hope you find some relief soon. I pray the same for me.

Praying for you Sparrow!! Every day!! I get the relentless. You are SO not complaining here. Please always come and talk about how you\'re feeling...the discouragement, the disappointment, the pain....the inability to tolerate it. We get it!! Like nobody else can, cause we have it.

I, too, rely so heavily on prayer. Last night a bout with sciatica kicked up just as I was about to lay down. I was SO exhausted at that moment. When the pain started, I just thought to myself, ok, another night with no sleep and started with the tears. Then I just closed my eyes and pleaded with the Lord to make it stop so I could sleep. He did. And that\'s not the first time I\'ve gotten up in the middle of the lonely night....and plead for mercy. He wants us to do that. To be alone with Him, isolated with Him, relying only on Him. Knowing that doesn\'t make the pain subside, but it helps me to realize that I am not alone. He knows how bad it hurts, and I am but dust. I can\'t take it. He comforts me.

Praying for that comfort for you, right now!
