woke up and it's still RAOK Day Here in Georgia.......I caught part of the news late yesterday and saw the Governor signing the official paperwork proclaiming this Georgia's Official Random Act of Kindness Day........and I continue to send out lots of love to you my dear friends and neighbors.........wish ya'll were closer, we could all spend a peaceful day together........I'd wish for a cool breeze, shade, comfy chaises and reliners.......folks to fetch us cool drinks and a yummy lunch and we could nap or chat or just watch the clouds in the sky..........listen to the birds sing........yes we can all have our own bell......lol.  this will be a very low key high service kind of afternoon........no worries, no dressing up......it's a come as you are and just be party.  paper hats are optional.........i promise. i think i might like a big hat made out of newspaper come to think of it......something naval and grand and big to block out the sun's rays.
i'm gonna take a shower shortly just felt like creating journal words i guess.  in the next couple of days i need to decide to either talk to the first dentist office i went to and see if things can be worked out or decide to "throw my initial office visit of $87" on the ground and go elsewhere.  When I was at the kind endo doc's office she advised me to speak directly to the dentist who owns the practice.  To see if it could be resolved.  She said that communication can often be problematic among office staff.  She said that she knows this dentist and he is very good. She said she would hate to see me lose the opportunity of a good dentist or my money because of a murky apple in his staff basket.
So when my mouth is settled down a bit more I should be grown up --- go back there and have the talk.  The nice endo also gave me a referral to another dentist that they really like.  So I have homework to do.
Still have my rheumy appt on Friday afternoon.  At the Monday appt, they called in 3 of the scripts, but one was supposed to go with me in my 50 lb. purse.  I forgot to remind them.....I forgot I was getting it, who am I kidding.......they called me to come and get it.  Sigh, lets do things twice.  Also discovered that one of my other more expensive scripts should have a discount card available from the manufacturer.  Sometimes medical offices tell you, sometimes they don't.......and I am very ineffecient at remembering these things.  It is such a frustrating system and we all need the savings.  ack.
I ordered 2 pairs of jeans yesterday.  The catalog says to give them a code to qualify for free s&h.  I forget to do this.......later I'm pretending to try to watch America's Got Talent......and it hits me that I forgot.  So I call them back, this toll free call knocked $13 off the bill........still trying to figure that one out.  Were they planning to charge me a separate fee per pair?  Wow, I am very tired........
About the jeans, I am ordering elastic waist pants with pockets.  I tried one pair in white from them for summer and loved them.  So I'm getting a pair of dark denim & black for fall.  Do I sound like a back to school kid?  This catalog company sends me......I kid you not.......an average of 3 catalogs a week.  Somebody must have told them that all of America loves excessive abundance of crap in the mail box.....and they dived in to try and fulfill this wish.........(I like their clothes, but they could take the zeal down a notch.....)
Zippers can be a pain in the WRIST/HANDS.  The zipper goer up thingy gets stuck down in the zipper part buried in the cotton flaps of the jeans and I have to use a pair of tweezers to drag that little bit of metal up in order to zip............washing pants w/ the zipper up helps, (WHEN I REMEMBER) but these zippers and my hands are just not getting along.  My shirts are long enough, nobody but me/us has to know that I am gonna be REALLY COMFY do they????????????????  gotta find those silver linings.......in the little stuff don't we! I also think it will encourage me to dress at home more often......living in pj's full-time has been dragging me down.
I need to concentrate on finding some super comfy walking shoes.  I do have several pairs of what WAS WORKING, but my fibro is ramped up......I think I need something akin to stabilized waterbed shoes lately.  Yup, I need support and a lot of softness to offset the pain I'm having in the bottoms of my feet, particularly my heels.  I'm pretty sure it's all fibro related, let's just run with that for now.  I'm still bumming that I have periodontal disease.  Endo doc lady said it is often genetic like in the case of her father.......a good dentist can help me with deep cleanings and stuff like that.  I asked her what part Sjogren's plays in it and I don't think she really knew........this isn't really her direct area, but I do wonder, how a lack of saliva and dry mouth impact the teeth and gums times all the years I've been sick. I'm probably lucky that I can chew.......have the ability to drink water at all.
Speaking of water, I have been guzzling so much lovely water..........boy I guess I was dehydrated.  I can't seem to get enough.  Usually I'm more of an all day sipper............right now I feel like an athlete chugging away after winning a big game! Water is so REFRESHING...........cool clean water and it won't rust your pipes.......thanks Dad, I can still hear your teasing in my head.
I think a shower, some soup and then rest.  I'm due.  P.S. My gardenias are blooming ............so pretty. Roses roses everywhere...........plant babies are thriving.......it rained again last night.  xoxoxoxoxoxo

So many things going on getting done. Yahoo for you! Fun pants, gardenias in bloom, hydrating, thoughts of a big party. Love that governor of yours.
I have peridontal disease also. I go for cleanings every 4 months and floss and brush and also use the interdental brushes. An electric toothbursh called a Rotadent has helped.I am taking enzyme co Q 10 and since I increased it. I am up to 120 mg a day. My doctor suggested I try up to 200 mg.my gums feel much better. No kidding. I also use a baking soda powdered toothpaste. There is a lot of stuff in flavored toothpaste that is not good for you teeth imo. The deep cleanings help too. No mention of kitties today?

Ohhhh, can I come over to your lawn party? It does sound absolutely marvelous and I need it right now. Our own bells? Wow. Love. Glad you\'re still clunking along, shopping for pants, etc. Took my mom to her first rheumy specialist appointment this afternoon for her fibro diagnosis. He thinks she may have polymyalgia rheumatica.... google that! Putting her on prednisone for 2 weeks and ordered new blood work. Any ideas on all this? Anyways, I wanna come to Georgia, k? I love looking at clouds and feeling the wind and listening to birds chirping.....okay, I\'m heading to the airport NOW!!!! xxoo

The lawn party sounds very inviting! Glad you have the imagination to put us with you......sounds wonderful!!

RAOK day musta been something. If only we all lived our lives that way! \"What a wonderful world this would be\"

Glad you\'re getting new jeans. I like comfy everything. I wear sweats and shirts around the house. I have Bobby here and dont like to look like I\'m wearing \"sick clothes\" whatever that means. I have an idea in my head of what I do NOT want to look like, so my stuff matches. I don\'t wear jeans in the house though....I have light weight stretch pants and such. Jeans are \"heavy\" to me. So are purses and sneakers. I love your idea of \"waterbed\" sneakers!! LOL...that would be perfect. Sneakers seem \"heavy\" to me as well, so I go for summer type, loafer, light weight kinds of shoes, and purses small enough to carry just what I absolutely need. I also wear \"fanny packs\" and just hook um around my waist so I don\'t have to be bothered with a purse at all!

Yea, this gettin old and feeble stuff, helps you come up with some pretty nifty ideas!

Glad you\'re lovin water! I\'m an all day sipper!! It\'s good stuff for us. Clears out the kidneys and the toxins we take in! And there\'s nothin like a good ole pee when ya wake up, right? Pfffffffffffffffft!!

Love ya birdie!
