Another Day
Well, it is another beautiful day here in Nova Scotia. I sure am glad that the weather in August has been decent thus far..knock on wood!!! Even the humidity has disipated, good thing too because it just saps my energy.Of course, I have been my usual busy self. Yesterday is almost a blur. I drove my daughter to the bank then to pay her rent and then to work. After that I had to spend some time with hubby and help him get packed to go off to Maine. He left around noon. Then I had some shopping to do as I was having company in the evening. I spent two and a half hours grooming and clipping my thiz shu...he was not thrilled and a half hour on my yorkie.I picked my daughter up from work at 6:30 and then went to pick up her birth mum, Shelly. We were spending the evening together before Shelly heads back to British Columbia on Thursday. We had a lovely evening sitting on the deck, gabbing, eating and drinking. I must confess I had a tad too much to drink, a whole bottle of wine in four hours. This is a lot for me as I do not drink on a regular bases but it was only 4% alcohol. Good news... no hang over this morning.Today I have been running the roads in the a.m. with my daughter and then I had a nail appointment which went about an hour longer because I stayed to gab with my girlfriend.Tonight I am going to the movies to see " My Sister's Keeper". Not one I really want to see but a friend asked me to go. I am not a big fan of the movie theatre: first, they cost a fortune, second.,they are not comfy and finally, you can't go to the bathroom and put it on pause!! LOL. I do enjoy seeing certain things on the big screen, like "The Lord of the Rings".I guess that brings everyone up to date on my ever so exciting life...sarcasm!!I wish all of you a wonderful, healthy day. Enjoy the good weather, one of us should be having some and it looks like you\'ve been elected.
That picture is playing now in Homer too but I\'m like you, hate going to the theater, besides the things you mentioned there is that whole needing to be dressed bit, can\'t do it in my jammies, can\'t have my dinner or a drink while I\'m watching and there always seems to be some idiot wiht their cell phone on or people talking or kids making noise. Nope, we\'re getting a big screen t.v. for our joint Christmas present this year and that will be all the theater I need.
Keep yourself very busy while Michael is away! I hear ya about th emovie theatres, esp the pause button. No hangover ! good, wonderful it was only 4%!
I haven\'t forgotten dates but have been in a big fog lately possibly from lack of sleep.... take care xo
