This has been my nemisis for the last few weeks. I don't even want to think how many wheelbarrel loads of gravel I hauled.. Well, between hubby and I, he did the lions share, we haulled about 16 cubic feet. That is a lot of gravel!!! But, I am pleased to report that the yard is done !!! I will post pictures later.I was saying to another DS friend How my DS responses have dwindled to a tickle and that there are not many journals posted. Then I looked at my own track record the last week or so and I new why. We are all busy squeezing ever last second out of the warm days. No time for computers. I suspect that will be the trend until the cold weather sets in or rainy days.I still have a list a mile long to do but I am slowly picking away at them. I have got myself back into the habit of only one project on the go at any time. I find this much healthier for me and I feel like I actually accomplish something at the end of the day. Yesterday, I did my two smaller from gardens: cleaning them out, moving plants adding new ones and got a few of my summer decorations out. I was also able to plant my four pots on the back step, which I screwed to the deck after last year when the dogs kept knocking of the bottom two. I also got a big pot done that sits in my front yard by my door. Oh, yeah, and I anniliated a huge black ant nest that had settled into my front garden. I usually only have the little red ants. these were big and the little buggers bit me. OUCH!!! Anyhow , they will have to find a new home.The day before was sunny but the wind was ferocious so I went like a woman pocessed and cleaned house!!I do this so I can spend every nice day outdoors. I also have company coming today. My friend, Nat, that I went to Ontario with is coming for brunch and to watch "Mama Mia". Girls afternoon.I don't have the boys this week. I will get them again next WEd.. there dad is home. I am enjoying the break. I still do the shopping for my elderly ladies but that is it. I don't even have any doctor or counsellor apopointments this week. YEAH !!! Just my nail, and boy do they need a good going over and my hair.Well, it is a little after 7:00 a.m.. and I need to get a move on to accomplish everything I have on my list.
