BUSY
Once again this will be short. I will be getting the boys ready for school in a few minutes. BUT the little guy has no school today so I will have him to watch for the day. That puts a real crimp into my plans of working flat out all day. Yesterday, I worked over my head for five and a half hours doing the ceiling. iIalso got some f the other wall done. But, oh my, were my neck, shoulders, arms and lower back sore. I could barely move!! So before bed I had a hot tub to loosen up the muscles or I would never have gotten up out of bed this morning.I have been up since 5:00 working on the walls. Not sure how much I will get done today. With the little guy and an appointment for my dogs to be groomed. I like to work flat out without interruptions. It puts me off my pace when I have to stop evry half hour to attend to things. Oh, well, it will get done!!!The weather here has finally warmed up to normal temperatures, around 0*F/32*C in the daytime. It is maple season with these temps. Which means my hubby is very busy tapping trees. They have a huge operation, 40 000 taps. Lots of exercise traipsing through the woods on snowshoes. He is beat by the end of the day.Well, gotta run and get the boys in gear. I'll keep you posted on my progress.Everyone have a great day and I will try to get to your journals tonight. Debbie

You sound like me. I was never one to take coffe breaks and rest periods when I\'m working. For some reason it tires me out and also kills my desire to get finished wiht what I\'m doing. I like to just go until I\'m done, then I can really relax.
Did you know you can also tap birch trees and make syrup from their sap? We\'ve never done ours, most of them just are not big enough or healthy enough to give it a try and I know you need gallons of sap to make even a bit of syrup.
I do know what a day on snow shoes can do to you though, when I did the 2000 census up here most of the places I had to go to I went on snow shoes and by the end of the day I was totaly pooped.
We\'re also up around 32*F most of the time, a bit above during the day and a bit below at night. It\'s been snowing off and on the last four or five days (I\'ve lost track) but things are so warm and wet it\'s not building up, just keeping me from getting out and doing much.
