Well, the sun is shining brightly and outside the world looks beautiful. Every where you look the ground is sparkling as the light hits the icy surface of the snow. BUT... once you step out the door that beautiful world literally takes your breathe away as the temperature is a very nippy -34*F/ _36*C. This long freezing cold snap is very unusual for us. Oh, yeah, we have the odd day that might be -25*C but it is rare. Normally, we fluctuate around -6*C/ -20*F to 0*C/ 32*F. These are temps we can live with. Even Jiji has to put on her hoody set to go outside. I love this pic of her. Jiji, is a real ball of fun. She is into everything, it’s almost like the terrible two stage in kids. The other day she came out of my dressing room hauling one of my good sweaters. Today, I had a hot tub and when I got out my nighty and slippers were gone. She had drug them into the hallway. Then she had a little piddle on the floor and I put some paper towel on it and left it for a second while I got the cleaner. Well, when I came back there were bits of paper towel every where. Boy, is she fast!!! But you gotta love her. She loves to be held and she snuggles right into to you.Today I have been busy doing some housework and little odd jobs. Hubby just left to get groceries, God bless him. Later, we are taking a friend out to pick out a storm/screen door. Michael will take the measurements of her door and we will go around and pick out what she needs. She will buy it and Michael will install it at the end of the month. Sure hope it’s warmer by then. Her hubby is not inclined to do these things and he works really odd, long hours.Tonight, my friend, Natalie, same gal as the door thing, will be attending a Fifth avenue jewellery part at a friends house. Works the same way the old tupperware parties work. I have been to one before. The jewellery is very.... expensive considering it is costume jewellery. It is knock offs from the pricey real piece by famous designers. The pieces for the most part are extremely dressy. I don’t know if I will buy anything, kinda watching the budget after the new furnace and our upcoming cruise. Anyway, it will be a fun social gathering.Well, I am going to sign off and leave you with a quote.
