WELL, the mad rush is over and everyone is probably breathing a sigh of relief. I hope everyone had a great xmas. We did. So nice to have family and friends around. I will be keeping this very short as today is the day I host the Boxing Day Feat. This is a 23 year old tradition. So around 4:00 I will have 20 plus guests arriving ready to eat, drink ( not too much), and be merry. Most of the work is done but it is the last minute stuff that I need to do. Also some final clean up. My menu is as follows: homemade chili, homemade maple beans, homemade maple bread. These are the main course. Then, of course, there is dessert. I will be serving homemade maplecheese cake, home made German apple cake which can be served plain, with ice cream or with my homemade rum sauce (yummy), homemade carrot cake with cream cheese icing and the coupe de gras is my Death by Chocolate dessert. Most people come and want to fill up on dessert. Lol!!Anyway, I do have to go. I hope all of you have a happy Boxing Day. Debbie

I thought I was full till I read your menu. We ate way to much but did have a great x-mas, minus family. They are to far away. I don\'t like that part. My only daughter who lives close has the intestinal flu. Of course I told her to stay home. We will have a dinner when she is better. Dinner sounds great, ENJOY. xo
oh my that all sounds so very tasty! your making my mouth water with all those goodies! hope you have a wonderful boxing day with your friends : ) ps. have you ever tried maple mustard? im totally addicted to it!!!
I so wish I could have been there for deserts, sounds so yummy and we didn\'t have any this year, probably good for the butt but not for the spirit.
