Well, the weather outside is frightful but the fire is so delightful.... We are having a major snowstorm right now. The wind is howling and you can hardly see a thing. They predict at least 12 inches/30 centimetres before the worst is over. But the high winds make it worse. My hubby has our yard all cleaned out. He has gone to get something done to the truck. I am here waiting for the furnace guy...again. This is their third visit since Friday. Friday was the day we were told we need a new furnace (carbon monoxide threat) , then Saturday we had no heat and it was -20 so back they came and fixed the problem in the control box. This time hubby noticed a huge amount of smoke coming out of the chimney. He checked the furnace and you could not even see the flames for smoke. So... back they come to fix the nozzels which they think the last guy connected wrong. I sure hope they don’t think that I’m paying for this service call!!! We can’t get a new furnace until sometime around the 29th. I sure hope the old gal can hang in there that long.Well, yesterday you would have thought I had not eaten for a month. I constantly was stuffing my face. I ate an ENTIRE bag of potato chips!!!! Plus a lot of other things: gumdrops, cake, pizza, cereal, popcorn. I was stuffed and really uncomfortable and felt really guily for over indulging. I am not usually like this. So today I am going to be extra... good.Suppose to have a hair appointment at 6:00 but we will have to see how the weather goes as she lives outside of town and her roads are never in the best shape. I will not be risking my neck for a hair do. I’ll do my own or wear one of my five wigs.All I have left to do id wrap about 8 stocking stuffers and I am done!!! oh, not quite, I need 2 bottles of wine for my manicurist and the lady who does my pedicures. These are my friends too, my cottage buddies.Well, gonna say so long and go make the bed. Um, maybe I’ll crawl back in for a bit. No, got stuff to do!!! be well, everyone. Debbie
