GETTING THERE

See even Santa has his bad days! Lol. I am feeling about a 7 today, improved from an 8. Things are slowly getting done. Today we tackle the garland/ribbon/lights above 20 kitchen cabinets. But I think it will go so much easier and faster as Michael is going to help. Usually its just me balancing on top of the counter top and battling with this long piece of greenery. I often wonder how long it will take before I fall off and break something!! I am done with the shopping only need a few stocking stuffers and I know what I want and were to get them. About a 20 minute job. No big deal! I have almost all the gifts wrapped. I have my in-laws gifts going out tomorrow. Michael will take them down in the morning. Good... one pile down and more room!!I am going to do up a nice basket of maple products for the couple that we hang out with and a smaller one for our other single friend. The friend that came on the cruise with us.I started knitting a scarf on Thursday. I had the yarn from last year but just never got around to it. It is for me so there is no time frame. I found it very relaxing. That’s a good thing as I have not done much of that lately and that feeling has eluded me. Could it be that I am on the mend and am finally scrabbling up that slippery slope of depression. One can only hope and pray!!Well, I need to get started on a few things now so I will close with a quote. I find that this quote describes me and my general attitude quite well. " You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along... YOU MUST DO THE THING THAT YOU THINK YOU CANNOT DO!!! Eleanor RooseveltBe well. Debbie
