You just can’t get much more peaceful that a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Soothes the soul, especially when shared with a friend and a good glass of wine. Sigh !!!! Got all of my journals answered this a.m., boy, I’ve been getting them done everyday for awhile now. Partly, because there is not as many of them, people on vacation etc. Plus I have been doing them as soon as I get my morning coffee fix before the day gets me carried away.As I mentioned in my previous journal, I went to my in-law’s for a b’que last night. All four of Michael’s sisters were home. Two of them only live about an hour away but one lives in Philly, she was home with her two young ones ( left hubby home ), and the other sister lives in Toronto. I was in charge of potato salad and dessert ( as usual ). However, I normally make everything from scratch but with the temp in the house at 95 F, I don’t think so!!!! So I bought all of the things, they were still very good. The weather held nicely for the b’que but on the way home the heavens opened and traffic slowed down drastically. I was hoping the downpour would clear the humidity but no such luck. The forecast has this system in place until at least Tues. Thank goodness for a/c in the bedroom !!!! the dogs joined us again last night. I hope they don’t think this is going to be an ongoing thing.Well, my hubby has been given the date for his trip to Maine ( he contracts out to harvest blueberries ). It looks like he will be leaving next weekend. It is usually a 14 day pick. This means that they must pick for 14 days, on rainy days or when they are shut down because the plant is full, these days do not count. He can be away for as long as 3 and ½½ 1/2weeks, this starts getting really.... long for me. I don’t mind the first week but after that things begin to drag. Plus this year with the house on the market, I’ll be responsible for all of that too. While he is away I have a lawn guy come and do all the mowing and whippering. We have a very hilly property and a fair amount of it and my knees just won’t take the abuse. So I’d rather pay someone to do it. Plus when, hubby comes home he arrives back right in the middle of our harvest and he has early mornings and very late nights so I keep the lawn guy on so Michael does not have to face that. Oh, well, that’s life.Still no action on the house. PATIENTS, DEBBIE!!!!Anyway, that’s all from this neck of the woods. I wish all of you a terrific day. Catch you soon. Debbie
