I’m sending all of you a little angel to put in your pocket today to bring you peace and happiness. We could all use a little of that.  Nothing startling is happening here. That’s probably a good thing, no new stressors. The house thing is moving WAY too slow for my liking but then it’s only been two weeks. But my hubby and I have decided that if it does not sell by Sept 20 we will give notice to the gentleman that we have a bid in on his house that we are negating the contract and we will take our house of the market. The legal documents will allow us to do that. We refuse to just give our house away. We will make a profit or we don’t sell!!! Plus I do not want to move anywhere except the place we have a bid on. So if it all falls apart, that’s okay because I really like my home. We would then just continue to pick away at the renovations as we can afford them. I think this decision will help me keep my sanity. I was starting to get too stressed out and I could feel myself beginning to slip. So it was time to put the brakes on and rethink things. I THINK..... that I’ll be alright. The other factor that adds stress to the situation is that in about 2 weeks my hubby heads for Maine for 3 weeks or so and I’ll have all of the stuff to handle on my own. Oh, well, I am strong, I am smart, I am competent ( this is me trying to convince me...lol ). Went out with my gal pals last night for coffee. We sat for 2 hours chewing the fat. I am so... luck to have such a super group of ladies to call my dear friends. They have been there for me for the last 20 years. They’ve seen it all and still they keep coming back. God bless them. My other girlfriend, the one who has been recently diagnosed with BP, is having a rough time. She has gone into isolation. She has a really negative attitude about life and is not motivated to help herself. The last time I was there she just talked about how she just wanted everyone to leave her alone. Needless to say, this made me uncomfortable as I felt that I was being included in the statement. She always said that I was the one thing that kept her grounded and hopeful and that she always felt better after a visit. But, I got a different vibe that day. Maybe I was being overly sensitive. I just don’t know and now I don’t know what to do. I am afraid to call her in case she rebuffs me. I am still too vulnerable and sensitive to handle that. I have sent her a lovely email card and note. To this point she has not opened it. I am going to send her a card today ( I’m thinking about you ). And on top of that, Nat is not the kind of person to initiate contact, she is afraid of rejection. So I have a real dilemma here. What should I do??? I need some advice from my fellow DS friends. Anyway, gotta run. Have a good one. Debbie
