Hello, friends, a basket full of my favorite flowers for you this morning. I have been up and caught up on all of my journals. Thought I’d better write mine before the day got away from me. It has a tendancy to do that lately. The day just seems to disappear and I don’t have the time left to accomplish everything, or the energy. Had a dental appointment yesterday for an ongoing problem. My dentist seems to think that some of the problem is not with my teeth but with my sinuses. He has made a referral to a specialist for me. I have had sinus problems for many years. I do however need a root canal and a crown. Thank, heaven’s I have dental coverage. It was suppose to be a half hour appointment and it took an hour and a half. So there went my schedule. Oh, well, gotta roll with the punches. Can’t get upset about that.Spent a few hours with my daughter yesterday. It’s good to spend time with her. She and her boyfriend are in the house hunting mode. They keep asking us to go and look at places they are interested in and to give them our opinion. We went to see one of the places on Sun.. Let’s just say that you could not PAY me to live there. In as a gentle, tactful way as possible I tried to point her in a different direction. But, ultimately, it is their desicion .About a month ago, I had my first experience with Ebay, I was always curious about it but rather apprehensive and leery of the site. Can’t be too careful these days. Anyway, I did buy a pair of shoes that I thought looked gorgeous ( remember, this is based on a picture ). I nervously awaited their arrival, the big day finally came, I think I held my breathe while I opened the parcel. And then there they were, even more gorgeous than the pic showed, like Cinderella shoes. And like Cinderella, they fit!! The price was fantastic, can’t get anything like them around here, all of my friends went nuts over them. By the way, I have a real shoe/sandal obcession. This little experience gave me the Ebay bug. I went on line and started bidding on items, mostly shoes but a few Xmas gifts too. I was very good and did not get carried away with the bidding and I really watched what the shipping charges would be. I won the bids for 10 items and I am waiting for the last item to arrive. I have been totally satisfied with all of the products. Can you believe it, I got 6 pairs of shoes/sandals, shipping ,tax etc for $117.00!!!!! I am not bidding on anything right now as I have other things to spend my money on and I don’t have the time. But it sure is a great place to get some super bargains.Anyway gotta run.
