Greetings my friends from cold and windy Nova Scotia. Today the weather is crappy!!! Freezing rain one minute, sleet the next and a high wind that goes right threw you. not a nice dat to venture out. However, I do have to go out. I have a doc appointment. I also have a number of errands to run. I'll make them quick!!!

No sleep AGAIN last night!! Just call me the midnight rover. I get a little more dragged down each day but I'm trying hard to keep my spirits up. Keeping busy certainly helps, you'd think it would be the opposite!!! I'm cooking a turkey today in one of those steam bags. Never used one before so I hope it works. The bag gave an approximate cooking time but I'm still using my meat thermometer, I want it well done, no little nasty bacteria/viruses alive inside to make us ill. Got sick on a turkey sandwich once and I could not believe how sick food poisoning can make you!!!

I was really happy to put up a green smiley face yesterday, the first time in months and months. I am making the best of them because you never know what's around the next corner!!  This is my message to myself for the day and hopefully for some or all of my DS friends.Well, gotta run and check the turkey and a few other odds and ends.
