BCrecipe0903.gifHello, all my dear DS friends. I finally have a few moments to actually sit down and type something. I've been really busy doing this and that, can't really say what I've been doing but the time has just flown by this week. I guess I've been doing a lot of catching up on things that i've been unable to do because of depression, yada, yada.... I have been spending a lot of time with my girl friend who has depression and finally after many months got to see a pdoc and he diagnosed her as being bi polar and started her on lamictal. She still needs a lot of support and TLC. She calls me her mentor because I'm there for her and I try to give her some tips about how to deal with some situations she will encounter with this disorder, after 15 years I've learned a thing or two,LOL.

Tomorrow I'm having a hepatitis shot for A and B types because we are going on the cruise to the Caribbean at the end of March. In the afternoon I am meeting with a representative from a funeral home to discuss what they have to offer. Now that's depressing!!!!

Generally, this has been a fairly good week except for my lack of sleeping. I roam around a lot at night and can't sleep during the day so I'm a little drug out. I don't think it helps that I'm still in some pain after my tumble down the outside stairsĀ  2 weeks ago. My butt still hurts and the side of my leg. Now I'm terrified of walking on the snow and ice.

My hubby and I have a very good relationship but sometimes life gets in the way of together time. So we have a plan, every second Saturday is date night. We even put it on the calendar. It's really nice to have this special time just for us, NO TV ALLOWED!!

Anyway, I hope everyone out there is having a better time and that your bad times are short and you are full of hope.

Be well, Debbie

Hi Debbie I so happy to see you are doing better since your fall. I bet that you are excited to go on you cruise. I have always wanted to go on a cruise to see what it is like. We should all se time aside for a special DATE Night with our hubby. Just because we are married doesn\'t mean that we stil can\'t have a special night out.It put spark back into the marriage. I\'m doing pretty good I had my right hand operated on last Monday for 2 cysts and a shrreded muscle. It is still sore I do the best I can. Nothing slows me down if I can help it. Have a good week and rest as much as you can. God bless you always. Suzanne

Hi Deb, good to hear from you and that you are doing good. Looking forward to a cruise, that is great. I have always been sea sick so I have been afraid of cruises, but I would love to wear a gown once. Naomi
