733380h0v7pi3yrw.gifThe special time is almost here and I'm sure like many of you we are all caught up in the final preparations for the impending special day. I am sincerely sorry for not answering the journals right now I have over a 100 to respond to. but this is tooo much for me. that's what I get for being so....busy. I am in Christmas mode and auotpilot. I am ready re: gifts bought and wrapped and a lot delivered. I have almost all the tthe things I need to make the Boxing Day meal, just a few items to pick up. I want to finish up today because otherwise the items may not be there. Now that would be a disaster!!

Mood wise, I'm hanging in there. Actually had some good days but I have been very gentle with myself. Hopefully my spirits will stay up at least until the holidays are over. I've sort of forgotten the dieting for the time being. Pretty hard to diet this time of year, lots of parties and get togethers and way too much tempting food. I love food!!! I am trying to stay good during the day so I am at least not totally bombing the day calorie wise. I have not even put out my chocolates or sweets because I'd be grabbing one or two each time I passed the dishes. This week we have had to gatherings. On Wed night we had a little Christmas dinner with the Masons. My hubby belongs to the Masons. It was a lovely meal, super homemade turkey soup, delious andwiches, including crab, yum, yum, a huge array of fruits and sweets. Boy, was I stuffed. Last night one of our friends put on a suprise celebration for his wife, a small gathering, very nice, not to many people. We had wonderful spagetti and garlic bread. Dessert was mini chocolate covered cheesecake, whipped short breads and homemade brown sugar fudge. I had 2 glasses of wine, I usually have only one. After about an hour i was not feeling well, tummy upset so we left early. None the less, I enjoyed myself.

anyway, I'll close for now and probably won't get back to the site until Dec.26. I know I will not be able to. I wish all my friends a happy holiday and a Merry Christmas Oh, by the way, I was listening to the radio the other day and a song came on that had a line in it that seemed so appropriate to some of us on the site, "You can't please everyone ,so you gotta please yourself!" this is so... true. Anyway be well my friends, Debbie

Hi Debbie, It\'s a very busy time of the year but I\'m going slow and doing what I can. My gifts are all bought and wrapped and I did some baking today. It\'s really mild here today, suppose to rain tonight and tomorrow which is good because we have mountains of snow!!!
I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hugs Cathy

O.K. you are not here, but I have to tell you that you always have the prettiest journals. And this one made me gain weight just reading and of course I was drooling too. Hope you have a safe and happy holiday.

ssuba, I always have the best intentions of not overdoing myself but somewhere along the way I forget about pacing myself. I\'ll try harder this year. Merry Christmas my friend, Debbie
