smiley-frown.gifAs most of you know I wrote a long journal yesterday and it was lost in cyberspace. I was not impressed!!!!smiley-yell.gifI'll try to condense the last few days.LOL I'm fairly long winded. I get on a topic and don't know when to shutup.

Tues. Was my pdoc appointment at 1:00, we had a good talk about stressors in my life and my meds not working. I'm presently on 1000mg of epival, 200mg of lamictal, 1.5mg of clonazepam, 600mg of seroquel and 7.5mg of my sleep med ,zopiclone. the bedside table is like a little pharmacy. He is going to leave them as they are but will be consulting another pdoc about other options. He also said that I will not be returning to work anytime soon. Then at 1:30 I picked my friend for Women's Group. We had Group from 2 til 4 but we stayed and chatted to the leaders for about 20 min. I then took my friend to the grocery store. Next we wnet to timmy's, a coffe shop. We got drivethru and sat in the car and talked til 6:00. It was okay because both of our hubbies were at work. It was a busy day and by 8:00  I headed for bed.

Wed. is kind of a fog. not sure what I did. I'm a little less depressed but I still feel it crawling under my skin. Like a predator waiting for it's prey to make a mistake and then it pounces. I'm trying to focus on positive stuff but sometimes my brain just won't cooperate. I did make it for the bi-weekly coffee with my friends from 7 til 9. It's usually only an hour but we had lots to catch up on. I was very tired when i got home. Oh, yeah, I took the dogs to the groomers. We discovered some brown spots on spike across his nose and the underside of his tail. I'll take him to the vet tomorrow.

Thurs. still not really focussed, time slips away from me and I can't remember what I have done. I did get spike to the vet. they said it was probabky a build up off oil and they gave me a special shampoo to use on those areas everyday and to get some hydrocortisone at the drugstore. It should clear up in a week. I got a chance to work in my gardens. It was nice in the sun but i wore my fleecy coat. I got the small front garden all cleaned out and ready for winter. I also took all the baskets that had been taken by the frost and cleaned the pots. I took down some of my decorations. I also put away the patio furniture. Spent the rest of the time doing laundry and being on-line. My hubby called and said he'd be home early because he is not feeling weel. this is so.... unusual, he rarely gets sick. It's a bad cold. I'm making him a nice turkey soup for supper. poor baby!!! Not much else to say. Gotta fold laundry. smiley-yell.gif

pg_1884036196.jpgThe flowers will soon be gone, enjoy them while you can. A bouquet for all my friends on DS. Be well, Debbie

Debbie, you amaze me. With all the medication you take I dont know how you can function, let alone do everything that you do. You are an awesome woman that obviously loves life and her family. You are always considerate of others. You are a blessing in my life. ((((Hugs)))) Shelly

Wow, you have been busy. That does seem to be quite a bit of meds. It might be part of the reason you forget things? I take clonazepam 0.5 mg as needed and it really messes with my memory.
Hope Michael is feeling ok and that you don\'t catch it. I\'m doing laundry now. A woman\'s work is never done. Blessings

You have been a busy girl!! It\'s good to hear that you have had lots of time to chat with others and some time in the garden. I hope this unusually warm fall continues so that I can get a few things done. I love homemade turkey soup!! Take care dear friend, Hugs and more hugs, Donna

Wow you go girl! Isn\'t it sad when we have to tear apart summer for old man winter,he is such a mean man. If it weren\'t for dahlias I would not have very many flowers left, they are so beautiful. Ruby is making me type one handed, she is using my right hand to pet her, grabbing it so unlady like. Even though it sounds like a lot of meds if they are helping you that is good, but it is also good that your pdoc is willing to get info from another pdoc to help you. I take Lithium for the hypomania, stops me from mowing the lawn with a flashlight. LOL. And I take Lamictal for depression, it is the only one I have taken that has worked and I tried an array of them. He gave me klonopin for anxiety, but of course you have to read all about it and it kind of scares you, but I do take it is I am still up at 3:00 in the morning. It is so weird how open and truthful I am with everyone on DS. Not one of my friends (not that I have a lot) or family members know I am bipolar or take meds for any reason. My youngest daughter does know I see a therapist, but thinks it is mostly for things that happened to me when I was young. Why would i do that. Good question for the therapist. I did prune trees today, but I refuse to put away the outdoor furniture for a while, so you are ahead of me. O.K. I have to fold laundry too...HUGS...Naomi

Oh man, this must be laundry day for all DSers!! You sure accomplished alot in one day, with all that activity wouldn\'t it be wonderful to fall into bed and sleep a good 8 hours. I couldn\'t sleep last night was up till 2, finally I grabed my pillow and headed for the sofa and got some shut eye there.
I hope Micheal doesn\'t end up too sick but homemade turkey soup, yummy, he should be feeling good in the morning.
It\'s wonderful that you have such good friends to send time with, sometimes they are few and far between. Makes us really appreciate the good ones.
I hope your Friday goes well. Hugs Cathy
