This reminds me of the summer sunshine, so brillant and alive. I wish I could be feeling like that right now!! Still under the weather depression wise, maybe a tad better but i don't want to get my hopes up. I've been trying to keep busy with the decorating of the new room. I've been out looking for items to accent the decore. It's amazing what you can find in the Dollar Stores!!! I picked up some nice wine glasses ( $ 4.00 ) they have hand painted flowers on them that match the wall color perfectly. I have lots of wine glasses, as I collect them but I'm afraid they may get broken and many of them cannot be replaced. i bought some glass coasters with three shades of green, I want to use them under the candles in case they drip. I also bought a thick cardboard container that is used to put wine in for a gift. It has lovely shades of brown plus a painting of a wine bottle and glass on it. I will put it on one of the shelves along with a real bottle of wine and a corkscrew. On sunday I found three little palm tree plants ( real) and found three containers for them in the colors of the room, how lucky am I??? Anyway, I could go on forever about my new room bt i'll stop hear for today. you guys will get sick and tired of hearing me go on and on about this room. but right now it's about the only thing I am clinging to to stop me spiraling down.
Have an appointment with my pdoc tomorrow, have to tell him the same ole same ole. I'm sure he's going to give up on me after all the meds and nothing seems to work but then again they may be working because we don't know what I'd be like without them. And don't want to find out!!! Also have women's group tomorrow at 2:00 til 4:00. This will be our second meeting, only 11 of us.
I made my hubby a special supper last night. i cooked a roast of pork on the barbeque. My friend showed me how. and it was absolutely delicious, so tender and juicy. I don't think I'll ever do one in the oven again. also rolled some small potatoes in virgin olive oil and put them in a pan so they were spread out and added them the the b'que about 35 minutes before roast was done. Delicious.
Then I made the coup d'grace, an apple pizza dessert. I have had several people on-line ask me for the recipe so i'll include it here so everyone can enjoy it and i only have to type it once.
Apple Pizza
Take one prepared pizza crust available at most grocery stores--no toppings bake for only 5 or 6 minutes til hot. If you want to make your own crust but cook it.
Next take a can of apple pie filling and heat it on stove til hot, set aside
Now drizzle pizza crust generously with chocolate syrup, the kind for ice cream
Next cover this with hot apples.
On top of this add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, the hot apples and pizza will cause it to start melting so serve quickly
The final step is to frizzle, again generously with caramel ( butterscotch sauce) kind for ice cream
Now serve your yummy dessert. BONUS---- no calories LOL
Be well, Debbie

Debbie, you are such a very special woman with many talents and an obvious love for your family. You are an encouragement in your consistent fight to be balanced and your ability to continue to reach out to others when you feel so bad yourself. I am very proud of you. This disorder is so difficult some days and I can feel your anguish in your depressed state. Keep your chin up honey, there are better days ahead. God holds you in His arms and knows the suffering you offer Him. Blessings for your day, sending big smiles your way. Luv, Shelly
here\'s a hug from me to you - I\'ll send you a real hug in a second. thinking about you and praying that you have better days ahead. Vicki xx
The dessert sounds yummy!! I don\'t get tired of hearing about your new room, in fact I look forward to reading all about it. I don\'t live a very exciting life, so your journals spice up my day. I hope you start to feel better soon and hold onto us because we\'re here to just that. hugs Cathy
Debbie, you flowers are beautifull and you sure are a good collector. As for pdoc-- just tell him/her the trouth and do not feel guilty-- about that it all the same.
Pizza sounds Yamm, even though I am not fond of pizza. Anna.
I will definitely try the pizza. It sounds sooo good. I\'ve been thinking of canning my own apples since I have an abundant supply!LOL I agree with Cathy. I love to hear about your room. I have no decorating sense. Maybe something will rub off on me.LOL Hang in there with the depression. Stay strong. Maybe someday they will come up with your miracle drug. Hugs and more hugs, Donna
