As youcan see from my emoticon I'm feeling happy!! A whole week of feeling quite well better than I've felt in 19 months. So I'm enjoying it while I can. I hate to be a pessimist but i've been through this before but i'm keeping my fingers crossed. I've accomplished a lot in 7 days very busy. As most of you know I'm getting a hot tub for indoors, oh, boy!! We are in the process of changing one of the upstairs rooms into a tropical theme for the setting. We spent most of Sat. crack filling and sanding, unbelievable how many nail holes and scratches there are. I hate the dust from it, I'll be cleaning that up in the house for weeks. Oh,well it's the price we pay. Got two coats of paint on already, it's a soft melon tone. All trim doors, windows etc will be painted with chocholate brown. We bought a fan that's really tropical looking, I love it. I bought an artifical palm that I'm going to put little lights in. we also bought the towels, a deep tan color but I also want some deep brown ones. I'm looking at having bamboo blinds for the window, they have to be custom made so probably be a little pricey but that's okay. i want it to be perfect. We also found a bath mat that has all the room colors and has palm trees on it, what luck!! I'll keep you posted with the progress.

We had thanksgiving dinner at the in-laws today, it was very nice. Tomorrow it's at my mum's. I also cooked a small turkey because Michael loves turkey sandwiches. He also loves my soup. I thought I was going to get away without making dressing but no way!!! On the way home from the in-laws he said where is our dressing. So when I got home I made the dressing. We use all potatoes no bread and we use a herb called summer savory. It's a Maritime thing!! Michael loves it and will eat just bowlfuls of it. I don't care if he eats it all, I'll have a little trying to watch my weight and the carbs. However, the up side to the dressing is that he put the second coat on the room. I must admit I love to decorate, hang wallpaper, put up borders, do all the accessories BUT I hate to paint. Not my thing, I make A heck of a mess. I get it in my hair, all over my clothes almost everwhere except on the walls. LOL
