smiley-undecided.gifI'm writing in pink today because I'm in a rather happy place and yellow is just too hard to read. I appreciate all of you that noticed I have been off line for over a week. It's nice to be missed. Nothing traumatic has happened just VERY busy. I'll give you a brief run downLOL.

Friday past we went to Halifax to get our passport papaers in. We left at  6 in the morning to beat the long lines at the passport office. I also wanted a little spare time because parking in Halifax is brutal. It was also pouring down rain and windy. It was our lucky day, we found a parking spot just a half block from the office. I expected long lines at the office but because we had done them on line we were served first, we were in and out in less than 10 minutes. Yahoo!!!!!

We spent the rest of the day shopping. There is this cute little craft shop that carries all kinds of different things. I try to do some sort of theme for our mothers at Xmas. This year it's a Kitchen theme. With lots off unique items. I am going to wrap each item individually and put a note in to say what it is. Then I'm going to put them in a buucket and wrap it in a tablecloth with a big bow. It was great fun shopping everywhere for different things even my hubby enjoyed it and was always saying,"look at this". We also went to some furniture stores because my hubby likes to look at furniture. We are not planning on buying any in the near future.

Oh, I almost forgot, we had brunch at a place called Cora's. I ordered eggs benedict, one of my favorite things to eat but I'm very fussy about it. They made the MOST delious ones I've ever had, even better than my own. But it also came with pan fries, 1/2 a banana, 1/2 an apple and a kiwi, a huge chunk of pineapple, a slice of melon, 1/2 an orange and a strawberry. I could not possibly eat all of it but I gave it a good try. boy did my tummy regret it later. It was so good we went back for the same thing the next day.

that evening we had supper at East Side Marios, wonderful meal. Then we went to the show, Bourne Ultimatum, really action packed. We then went back to the hotel and crashed. Just tired out!!!

Saturday we went to a home show in Halifax. I got a steam mop, it is the greatest thing since sliced bread!!!! LOL We also looked at soft sided hot tubs and spent quite awhile talking to them. We really liked the 4 person one. All the tubs had $300 off the regular price as incentive. Anyway to make a long store short we order the 2 seater because the 4 seater would not go up the stairs. But i'm happy with that. It will arrive at the end of the month. So I took my daughter's old room and turned it into my dressing room, boy, do i have room now and lots of storage. We are taking my old changing room and turning it into the hot tub room. I want to do a tropical, spa like theme. I have already bought the flooring, the paint and a fake palm tree which I'll put little white lights on. I'll gradually add to this as I see it taking shape. I'm VERY excited about this!!

So I've been off line from the site and all my dear friends because I've been as busy as a bee. Oh, also, a therapist meeting as well. I've been feeling pretty well this week. i hope saying this does not jinx it. LOL

Obviously, I don't do so well in making a long story short.LOL BE well and happy, Debbie
