I think it's going to be an okay day. I've been up sice 4 and then could not get comfortable enough to go back to sleep. I hate raising that early but at least I was able to catch up on your journals. sometimes it takes hours but I don't regret a minute of it because your such wonderful people. you have made such a difference in my life, your like a life line.

My daughter responded well to my little lecture about only calling me when things were bad and when things are good I don;t hear from her. She has started to be more considerate and I appreciate it. She starts her new job on mon.. I hope she likes it.

The weather here has definitely turned fall kike. Cooler days and some nights with frost . My poor beautiful plants !!!! I hate to see them go. I now need to start cleaning out some of the beds. I also need to move some lilies into the lily garden out back. The leaves on the trees have started to change, they are beautiful. I think next weekend is " Feastival of Fall ". It is held at the local ski resort and for $5 you ride the chair lift to the top of the mountain and get a spectacular view of the leaves. Then you walk down the hill. Friends of ours will be coming with us.

My girlfriend, Dale and I made homemade salsa last weekend on a Sat night while the guys went to the hockey game. She has too many tomatos and hated to see them go to waste. We had three different recipes so we sort of took the best from each one. It was lots of fun. I also got more tomatos from her and made another batch on Sun. I also made corn relish on Sun. I just love the stuff!!

Today I am going to work on the info. needed for my husbands passport. most of mine is done except photcopying a few documents but I have my own copier as part of my computer so it's really easy. then we are going to to go to the office in Halifax, our capitol city, and go directly to the passport office where there is a special line ffor people who did theirs on the internet. If you do it takes three weeks to get the passport, if you don't it takes about 15 weeks.
